This is simple motel style accommodation with no frills. It's perfect for those who are traveling on a budget who require reasonably priced rooms in a central location.

This accommodation is in a good location for people traveling to Austin for one or two nights. It's just off Interstate 35, making it easy to access from the highway. The university of Texas is only five minutes away on foot, as is Austin Lakes Hospital.

The Continental breakfast served is rather small and basic. Those requiring a heartier breakfast need only walk a short distance to get to a number of cafes, which offer an excellent selection of food and hot drinks. For an evening meal, the nearby Ethiopian restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

Some experienced a number of issues with their rooms. This included malfunctioning door locks and broken interior doors. The outdoor pool is seasonal, so often closed for use. It's also right beside the highway, so less than relaxing.

Many found the staff, both over the phone and in person, unfriendly. Those who made complaints often found that they were met with less than polite responses from the management.

Some guests who complained about very obviously damaged and broken items, or other issues found that no refund was offered as recompense. A number of guests also discovered that they faced extra charges for everything from minding luggage to parking. Others were overcharged for rooms advertised at discounted rates, or charged twice for the same room.
