Hotel Rodeway Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach (Rehoboth Beach, USA)

This isn't the 'ultimate' place to stay, but it's not priced along those lines either. Instead, it is a clean and friendly inn where you can enjoy a well earned budget break.

All the facilities are here for self-catering, so you can save even more money. It's tempting to use the nearby restaurants though; particularly Cracker Barrel which is just next door!

Rooms are very clean, if a little on the dated side. Everything works though, so no problems. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient .. a major element in the running of any hotel.

Everywhere is grime ridden. Mold is left to run wild and is thriving in the bathroom. This is a health hazard in the making and when approached with these concerns ... there is a lack of any (concern) on the part of the management. Don't even mention the appalling WiFi!

Anybody seen the cutlery? There's next to nothing here and you wonder about the wisdom of using the potential health hazard, microwave and rusty fridge. There's a real attraction in eating out and avoiding food preparation on these premises. That comes at a cost though and suddenly, that cheap break away is becoming significantly more expensive.

Don't walk on floors without wearing shoes, unless you want black feet. It's that sort of place! Bed linen 'stinks' and wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There is, however, real potential here, but it won't be realized without a different and vigorous reappraisal on the part of the owners and management.
