This motel offers an enviable location in Mackinaw City. The magnificent Mackinac Bridge is close as is Old Mackinac Port Lighthouse and Colonial Michilimackinac Park which guests appreciate. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and ferry services to Mackinac Island are nearby.

According to feedback, the owners and members of staff of this motel provide a great standard of service. They are friendly and welcoming and keen to offer guests advice on what to see and where to go.

Guests are disappointed to discover that there isn't a coffee maker or any means to make a hot drink in their rooms. This is slightly mitigated by the fact that coffee is served in the reception area but this isn't always the case, especially early in the morning.

This motel has been operating since the 1960s and guests mention that the décor is still very reminiscent of that era, sometimes to the detriment of the overall standard of accommodation. Guests would like to see some changes that help the motel look and feel more modern.

Guests mention that they found the beds at this motel quite uncomfortable. It seems that the mattresses are very firm and in some instances have seen better days.
