Located near the River Fowey and a short walk from the town centre, River View offers bed and breakfast rooms and a garden with a terrace. Local attractions include Readymoney Cove and St Catherine’s Castle. Four rooms are available, each one en-suite and offering sea or river views. Rooms feature a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests will find that parking is available on the street outside the B&B or in a free car park two minutes away. Luggage storage and bike lock-up are available. Bookings must be for a minimum of two nights. Children/pets are not accommodated. A free breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. Guests can choose continental, vegetarian or a full English. The River View B&B offers an ideal location from which visit the Eden Project, 15 minutes away, and Wild Futures, The Monkey Sanctuary, 45 minutes away.

Guests frequently mention how clean and comfortable they found the River View. In fact, there's nothing to suggest you'll find even a speck of dust here. The rooms and common areas are found to be of the same high standard.
A great breakfast awaits. Guests love the choice of items available, commenting that there is something to suit every appetite. The food is consistently described as beautifully cooked and presented and, in warmer weather, can be enjoyed on the garden terrace.
Gill, owner and host at River View along with her husband, seems like a very friendly and welcoming host. Guests are made to feel welcome from the moment they arrive and the on-going service is attentive. Gill has extensive local knowledge and is happy to help.
A number of guests mention that this B&B is located at the top of a fairly steep hill. While some didn't mind the chance to squeeze a little exercise into their stay, others found the walk back up from town was not for the faint-hearted.
Access to this B&B is through the kitchen at the rear of the building (you will be given a key). While no guest felt unwelcome as they walked through, it may present a bit of a privacy issue for people who would rather keep to themselves during their stay.
