Hotel Ripetta Palace (Rome, Italy)

With a mix of elegance and modernity, the rooms at the Ripetta Palace regularly scored high marks with previous guests. The free minibar, Nespresso machine and beds were amenities that have proven popular, while the hotel's rooms were also generally considered to be spotlessly clean.

Former visitors were overjoyed by the hotel's location. Along with many major sites such as the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain all close to the accommodation, the Vatican City is also within walking distance.

Essentially all past guests found the service provided by the Ripetta Palace's hosts to be exceptional. Along with a supposedly welcoming and really friendly attitude, the proprietors of the hotel were said to be incredibly accommodating.

Arguably the most common concern about the Ripetta Palace relates to the fact that the building does not contain a lift. As a result, guests have to climb the hotel's stairs to be able to reach their rooms - something that was difficult for those with heavy luggage and/or mobility issues.

Although not always the case, a number of the hotel's rooms were criticised for the space that they provided. These rooms have been described as cramped and lacking city views, causing them to be somewhat uncomfortable as a result.

As the Ripetta Palace is set within a historic building, the perceived soundproofing supplied was not always up to the standard of blocking out all noises - according to a minority of past visitors. Noise from both internal common areas and external sources has been reported on occasion.
