Situated in a good position close to both the Peripherique ring road and Gallieni Metro Station, Hotel Reseda offers guests comfortable budget accommodation in a reliable chain property. The rooms are very basic, but comfortably furnished. Each features en-suite bathroom, wardrobe, flat screen TV and work desk. Reception is on hand to assist with local information, and there is also a paid business centre available for use. Wi-Fi (for a fee) is available throughout the property. A basic continental buffet is available every morning in the breakfast room. As for the other meals, reception staff will be happy to offer dining recommendations, both for the immediate area and central Paris. A major intercity bus station and metro stop are both just across the road. Central Paris and its attractions are approximately eight miles to the west, and can easily be reached by public transportation.

While reviews were mixed, many guests did appreciate the hotel's location. It was right opposite the Eurolines Bus Station, so guests arriving there did not have far to go to get to their hotel. Also, most said it was only about 30 minutes by metro to get to central Paris from the station opposite.
Considering how close it is to Paris' ring road, guests were shocked to find that their rooms were actually pretty quiet, both day and night, letting sleep or work in peace. It seems the soundproof windows really are soundproof.
Guests seemed just a little surprised to report that the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel was actually quite good. They had clearly not been expecting much, but were surprised by a good spread with a lot of variety.
While there are different categories of rooms the standard rooms are described as being exceptionally small. Perhaps guests were hoping for bigger rooms outside central Paris, but their hopes were dashed.
Reviews of the cleanliness were mixed, but many guests mentioned that the carpets in their rooms had stains on them. Given the time since the last update, this was perhaps inevitable, but this did not make guests feel any better about them.
A remarkable number of people mentioned that they had problems with their room lock. It was said to be extremely stiff. They needed a knack to easily get it open, which they obviously couldn't develop over the course of a short stay.
