L’Auberge de Choucas, a charming mid-seventeenth century mansion with a gorgeous vaulted dining room and a grand fireplace, nestles in the heart of Monetier les Bains, a peaceful mountain village. All of its bright rooms face South over the hotel’s quaint garden, with a lovely view of the nearby country farms and the stately mountains. Some of the rooms have a confortable terrace. Elegant and intimate, their décor is both vigorously Alpine and traditionally French. Our select, time-honored inn caters to those “happy few” connoisseurs and gourmets who demand an inventive, healthy cuisine that is based on fresh and organic regional produce.
