Hotel Regent (Rome, Italy)

The hotel staff are very friendly and hospitable. Hotel Regent in Rome has excellent customer service from any help you need in your room to directions and help with your travel plans.

The Euclide metro station is literally less than a minute away, offering you access to all of Rome. Both the Roman Forum and Colosseum are close by, within five miles. You can also walk over to the Villa Borghese gardens, just 15 minutes away.

The rooms are well maintained, clean and spacious with comfortable beds, linens that are changed daily and excellent bathrooms with glass-enclosed showers and good water pressure. There's also room service.

There's free Wi-Fi but the connection is not always strong in the rooms and seems to be affected during the day by activity in nearby businesses. It does work and you can check your email, but it is not reliable for work or streaming video for a movie. You can pick up a better signal in the lobby and common areas where it runs smoothly.

While the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, it can be noisy outside on the street from construction or daily commuting traffic.

Depending upon your preference, this could be an obstacle or not. The hotel is set apart from loud bars but you also miss out on the nightlife in the area. It is a longer walk to reach the bars from this hotel.
