Being so close to a major road means that there is inevitably some traffic noise. Even with the window shut you may hear it. The problem is that the rooms get a little warm at night so it's nice to have the option of opening the window, but that obviously makes it even louder.
Some of the décor at Redwings Lodge looks past its best. The carpets are a bit worn and some of the wallpaper is peeling. A bit of tender loving care and a lick of paint here and there would do the world of good.
