The price is right here, especially with limited pet-friendly options in the area.  The decor is a bit dated, but it's clean for the most part.  Easy on/off Interstate 10 with access to plenty of restaurants nearby, like Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, McDonald's and Waffle House, as well as a convenience store.  It's about fifteen minutes' drive to Pensacola Bay, and there's a small outdoor pool on-site too.  Breakfast is served daily, featuring the basics of a complimentary continental (no hot options) with somewhat tasty coffee in the lobby. (Some opted to eat breakfast elsewhere due to lack of selection. You'll have cereals, muffins, pastries, bagels and such with juices/milk/coffee. FYI: Starbucks is fifteen minutes' ride away.)

The basics are covered and pretty much everything works.  Though you'll likely have a box television, you'll get most basic cable channels.  Wi-Fi connected well for some and not others. There's a handy mini-fridge and microwave to store your leftovers and re-heat later.

Most reported positive interactions with the staff and an easy, efficient check-in process.

It appears that all exterior doors are kept disabled, even from activated key cards, except the front entrance.  Park close to the front if you can.

Whether you choose a smoking or a non-smoking room, a pet-friendly or a non-pet-friendly room, your room will likely stink.  Stale smoke and the odor of doggie/kitty accidents permeates throughout the premises, only barely covered by the overwhelming scent of chemical air freshener.

Some felt their rooms could've been cleaner, and others chose to keep their flip flops on throughout the entirety of their stay.  Carpets need some love.  The beds are quite firm, and to some - unbearably hard.
