Guests say that the Red Roof Inn Palmdale in Palmdale, USA, is undergoing a renovation. But even if they give it some slack owing to this, they say they would certainly like to steer clear of the place. The hotel is dirty. There is plastic covering the windows and the whole place is messy and filthy. The parking area is not lighted and as it is close to the access area off the Highway, guests say this attracts unwanted guests.

Facilities like pool and free Wi-Fi are not available as advertised by the hotel. Guests traveling with children say that they booked the hotel for the pool but it was out of service. No discount is given as compensation either. The free Wi-Fi could never be connected to and no amount of complaints got it to work. The free continental breakfast is nothing but a few muffins and coffee or tea.

Rooms are not cleaned after a previous occupant vacates them. Guests say they opened the door to a mess with dirty towels and drink cans strewn around. Television, air conditioning and refrigerator reportedly did not work in some rooms. Guests say that the pictures shown on the site are deceiving and their entire experience was a horrible one.
