Close to the highway, but most slept soundly regardless, even on days when Indy 500 fans fill the area. Pet-friendly at no extra charge. No breakfast (or any meal) is served on-site, but you can walk to McDonald's, Subway, Chinese and Thai restaurants in less than five minutes. Complimentary coffee, beverages and Wi-Fi are adequate. Entrances are outside (like motel-style usually is), but the exterior and parking lot are well-lit. Renovations in various areas are currently ongoing. Safe, cozy, affordable and clean.

Clean, well-appointed and perhaps slightly dated, although most found the rooms simple but adequate for sleeping, resting and bathing. Comfy beds, microwaves, refrigerators, large cable televisions, lots of lamps/lights and excellent shower pressure and temperature. There might be a stain or two on the carpeting, but management assures that hardwood floors are soon to replace it.

Friendly and helpful in all departments with special recognition to front desk and housekeeping. Their enthusiasm and charm makes the visit first-rate from arrival to departure.

Some reported their rooms smelled like cigarettes in spite of being "non-smoking", while others complained their bathrooms had hair left in drains and their old, worn bedding was full of stains. Carpeting is worse in some areas than others. Bring your flip flops.

The ongoing refurb is right on time. Air conditioning units are inefficient, pipes and faucets leak, curtains and bedding are worn and the floors have seen much better days. Door locks and handles need a squirt of WD-40 or to be replaced altogether.

Most stated the noise level from the nearby road was minimal and they slept soundly through the night. Others, unfortunately, had the opposite experience. Light sleepers bring your earplugs.
