Arriving guests are warmly welcomed by personable front-of-house staff. Multilingual, and with a vast knowledge of the city's attractions, they are always on hand to offer transport tips to wherever you want to go. Less prepared visitors appreciate the reception staff's willingness to print out boarding passes.

Perhaps the most consistent praise-point for this hotel relates to the reasonable room rates. Although not the classiest establishment in the city, it is, according to reviews, one of the best in terms of cost, representing excellent value for money for business travellers and tourists alike.

A number of reviewers have had a restless night because of soaring in-room temperatures. Rooms at the front of the hotel are worst-affected, as the sun heats them throughout the day. A lack of A/C units exacerbates the issue. Opening windows cools things considerably, but allows in noise.

While bathrooms are clean and functional, some reviewers report that the showers leave a lot to be desired. Changeable water-pressure and temperatures annoy some, while broken heads disappoint others. Mounted too low on the walls, they are at chest-height for many guests, rendering a freestanding shower impossible.
