Despite having a large number of guests, the hotel still has a reasonably quiet and plenty of parking spaces. Parking system is also fairly simple, so you can easily park even without help from the valets.

Mt. Rushmore's White House Resort is right outside the Boardwalk and the main street, where there are many shopping and dining options. You can ask the staff members at the front desk and they will help you regarding directions and other information about the different places or attractions in the area.

Some of the guests received nice little notes from room attendants wishing them a good stay. The receptionists are also welcoming, and friendly but not overly chatting. You can also rely on the housekeeping staff to perform your requests efficiently and in no time.

Many guests who requested for a wake up call were not woken up at the time they requested. This could be a big issue especially when you have a very important appointment scheduled. If this issue happens to you, speak with the staff as they are reputed to have excellent service skills and can help deal with any issues that may arise.

Weak water pressure, cold water not working, and leaking toilets are just some of the issues reported by guests. If you are unable to take a decent shower, report to the front desk and they will send a maintenance staff right away.

You might be slightly disappointed with the size of the rooms. Most have extremely low ceilings, which makes the rooms feel cramped. Technically, all rooms are spacious; there are only many pieces of furniture and appliances provided for your convenience.
