Hotel Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden (Santa Cruz, Portugal)

From the moment you check into your room, it should be clear that the staff really care about making the experience as pleasant as possible for guests. You'll find the staff to be very polite, attentive and courteous, always behaving as if nothing is too much to ask.

Guests loved the property's outdoor pool and gardens, and found them both fabulous places to relax and fully bask in the bliss of having a holiday way from the ordinary. There is also a spa on the site, so if you are the kind of person who likes to enjoy the things a property has to offer besides the private rooms, you're in for a treat here.

Guests really appreciated that the staff go out of their way to create a tranquil environment that's ideal for holidaymakers. Although they don't seem intrusive, you'll find that staff are constantly available to do anything they can that helps guests feel that all they need to do is allow themselves to fully enjoy themselves.

Some guests commented that the rooms could do with a little freshening up. However, this observation was never bothersome enough to make the guests wish they had stayed elsewhere.

This property caters to an older clientele. Some guests found that a few areas of the hotel, such as the steps near the swimming pool, nd the path that leads away from the property, are hard to manage with any sort of mobility impairment.

Although this was a minor gripe for most guests, some were not pleased that the hotel does not offer many choices as far as television stations in English.
