Guests were largely unsuccessful when they attempted to access the Internet from their rooms. Some guests found that reality quite inconvenient, although most were at least able to get online in the hotel's public areas.

Guests said the carpets in the corridors were extremely shabby, and in some cases, very stained. Although staff members attended to them by doing their best to keep the carpeting clean, guests often felt it was a lost cause and that the only real solution is to replace the carpets.
