Comfortable, spacious, and lovely rooms are the expectation, and the pleasant reality, when you check into this resort. Superb housekeeping that's maintained during your stay, and relaxing accommodations that echo the atmosphere make it a rewarding holiday venture.

The staff are everything you hope a place like this would have. They're extremely friendly and helpful, and tend to every request that would make you happy. Every guest is treated with respect and the utmost attention towards a successful time. Whether it's assistance with transportation, extra linens, or touching up the details of a party, they're always ready to produce excellent customer service.

Restaurant selections are delicious, filling, and nicely portioned. The bars also have great and varied offerings, and the spa's amenities provide plenty of space and opportunities to unwind. All of the components at Quinta do Lago come together perfectly to provide a wonderful ambience.

Cleanliness and cosiness aren't enough to offset the tired looking and worn out fixtures and furnishings. The rooms need fresher looks and layouts, to better complement the views and luxurious sentiment that staying here is suppose to bring. The room costs would make more sense if the settings weren't so reminiscent of decades past.

The focus on peace and quiet may be too strong here, since there's also the strong opinion that the resort is too uneventful. Live and night entertainment would be a plus, as well as amenities that would encourage more liveliness.
