Queens Hotel was purpose built during the Victorian era and still remains one of the most impressive hotels in Eastbourne. Right on the seafront, you can easily walk down onto the beach or to the pier from here.

If you take a room facing out at the front of this hotel you'll be able to enjoy stunning views over the English Channel. Wake up early enough and you'll also be able to watch the sunrise over the horizon in front of you.
Many of the rooms and hallways in this hotel suffer from rather noisy creaking floorboards. These can be quite loud and disturbing, not just for you but for other guests in the hotel too, particularly the ones beneath where you are walking!
The kitchen here isn't pulling its weight in comparison to the rest of the hotel. Meals served in the restaurant are a bit hit or miss, with some being fine while others are poor. There are plenty of other great restaurants nearby that you can dine in.
Queens is a historic jewel on Eastbourne seafront but not enough is being done to keep it looking at its best. Some careful renovation work on the hotel interior would really help to keep this place in good shape.
