The Palm Beach Mamaia 24-hour front desk staff are the first point of contact and they provide a warm and friendly welcome with a very efficient and altogether pleasant check-in process. Staff in other areas including the spa and restaurant are also very accommodating and approachable.

Hotel accommodation includes simple rooms, suites and duplex apartments. All options are spacious and well-laid out. Hotel cleaning staff are well-trained and keep rooms and en suite bathrooms spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels are also replaced regularly.

Food options are excellent starting with generous buffet breakfast options presented in a clean and modern space. Service throughout is efficient and polite including the poolside snack bar and the Lebanese-themed restaurant.

While some might see the room décor as more along the lines of a classic hotel, with carpeted floors and full-length drapes, others will see the décor as dated, especially when compared to more modern hotels.

The Wi-Fi signal is terribly unpredictable and will disappear without warning, not ideal for business or for researching the area. Signal quality is also quite slow when it is on.

Room sound insulation is very poor and it is all too easy to hear activities in other rooms as well as other guests coming or going along the hallways. The poor room insulation also does very little to prevent outside noise from traffic as well as people passing through the area from penetrating rooms. Not ideal for light sleepers or business travellers to the area.
