It all goes to show that you can pay a very reasonable tariff and still stay somewhere that's super clean. Far better than some higher priced alternatives; rooms, bedding and the place in general, are all spotlessly clean.
Staff are simply great and play a big part in the enjoyment of the stay. Free hot cookies at night is an innovative idea and forges the friendly link between hotel and visitor.
There are some (very) long stay guests here and they hang out, night and day, chatting and ... smoking.
Rooms need stripping and starting again. Out with the dirty, smelly carpets and tacky furniture. Time to refurbish the rooms so that they merit the tariff charged!
Breakfast certainly isn't inspiring. It's limited in choice, plus, don't get indoctrinated with that phoney implied message of 'you can't complain, 'cos it's free'. In fact, you've paid for this + it's just not good value! Having said that, it's not the worst either; but breakfast is a time when hotels can make a final and positive impression, prior to guests departing. Why don't they seize the opportunity?.
