The rooms are adequately proportioned and include a fridge and a microwave. The beds are comfortable and allow a restful sleep. The rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi is effective and the air-conditioning unit works well.

As well as having access to local transport links there is also free parking for those arriving by car. There are a couple of eateries in the immediate vicinity which staff are happy to direct you to. Staff are friendly and check in is efficient. There is an on-site swimming pool which is kept very clean and the perfect place to spend a couple of hours.

Breakfast is often included in the room rate and there is more than enough to get you set up for the day. You can expect a range of hot and cold items like cereal, pastries, waffles, eggs and sausages. Guests feel that the hotel provides good value for money as a budget hotel.

Most areas of the hotel smell very strongly of smoke, including the non-smoking rooms. This has been a repeated concern of previous guests and one that they feel needs addressing immediately.

The hotel is starting to look past its best and is in need of a refurbishment. This includes things like loose threads on linen, marks on the carpet and bits of mould.

A minor irritation past guests have shared is the hotel does not prepare the room for the number of guests booked in. So if there is more than one person checking in you may only have one towel waiting for you and have to request more. If you are planning on using the sofa bed there may not be sheets left for you and again this is something you would have to request.
