For the most part, rooms are spacious, clean and decent with basic amenities. Free Wi-Fi and a simple complimentary breakfast are also offered.

If location is your top priority, this spot is okay. Right on the bus route for central San Antonio and directly off the interstate, you can easily get around the city if you plan well.

The pool is quite popular; inviting, large and clean.

Don't be surprised if you get hustled. Discounts clearly indicating the site's address may not be accepted. If you are promised a refund for any reason other than being robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot (with the police report to back it up), please know that you will not receive it. You'll be surprised with extra fees thrown in whenever they feel like dreaming them up. You may be charged extra if your non-smoking room smells like smoke when you leave (HINT: All the rooms smell like smoke all the time). They will not work with you on changing reservation dates once you've booked - even if it means you'll be adding more days. If it's possible to charge you for the advertised free breakfast, you can count on it happening. You also may never EVER eat in your own room - that's the rule. If you don't like your room for any reason, you will probably be paying for it anyway.

Malfunctioning amenities galore. The air conditioning may not work, clocks jump three hours ahead even after you've adjusted them multiple times, the safes don't work, and outgoing calls are blocked so you will need to call out from the reception area.

Plenty of insects of various types, both dead and alive, in some rooms.
