There is little nearby to this resort and the jungle surrounds if from every side. Plenty of wildlife wanders into the grounds, especially a wide array of insects from small ants to big crickets. If you're squeamish you might want to reconsider staying here.
It's a real disappointment that the food here isn't up to scratch, the dishes on offer are very expensive and the quality of the ingredients is not particularly high. Try other restaurants in the area for better meals.
This would have once been a very nice and pretty resort but the years are bringing this place down. Without regular maintenance this resort will deteriorate further and a thorough refurbishment will be necessary.
