Hotel Puerto Canteras (Las Palmas, Spain)

Guests really seemed to like the hotel's location, mentioning that it was very convenient for the harbour and that there were also many great cafes, bars and restaurants to choose form in the immediate neighbourhood.

Almost all guests seemed to really enjoy the breakfast, saying that it was both plentiful and that it had enough variety to ensure that everybody could find something they liked.

This one was certainly a turn up for the books. Unlike most hotels, which get no compliments for their Wi-Fi at all, and many, many complaints, the Wi-Fi system at Puerto Canteras was praised by a number of guests, who found it both reliable and fast.

It was mentioned that the rooms do not come with kettles or other tea/coffee making equipment. While reception might be able to rustle up a kettle, this cannot be guaranteed, and guests may be out of luck when it comes to preparing themselves a hot beverage in the privacy of their room.

While guests did appreciate that there were a few parking bays available on-site, they were described as especially small. As a result those with larger cars or SUV's seemed to really struggle to fit into the spots, having to make numerous tight turns to properly align themselves first.

While it didn't come up very often, some guests did mention that most staff, other than at reception, did not really seem to have any English language skills to speak of. This did cause some issues for guests who knew little or no Spanish, especially in the hotel's café.
