Hotel Puerto Azul (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain)

This hotel is located in the middle of town, very near the beach, and a great location for the bus station, shops, and access to the centre of town. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby for exploring your culinary pursuits.

Guests say the roof terrace is a wonderful spot from which to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area.

Rooms at this hotel are on the small side and feature what guests say is cheap, flimsy furniture. Mattresses are thin and there is no fridge, no kettle, and no cleaning on the weekends. These outdated rooms also lack TVs en suite.

This hotel does not provide toiletries in the bathroom facilities. Not only that, but guests say the water often stops while showering.

The walls of this hotel are paper thin and you're likely to hear plenty of noise from your neighbours. Rooms near the street are especially prone to the sounds of the streets below. Bring earplugs.
