Hotel Pueblo (formerly known as La Plazoleta), is a small two-star establishment set in the old village of Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol. En-suite rooms have a terrace or balcony and can sleep up to two people. Simply stunning in the Spanish sun.

What a brilliant place! Welcoming, clean and in this perfect village square setting. There’s even a fountain outside … just to complete the picture.

Facilities galore.

Don’t lavish too much praise on them – (they might put the prices up!) - but this 2 star hotel has more facilities than many much higher rated establishments. Air conditioning to start with, then Wi-Fi, satellite TV and everything you need to prepare light meals and snacks in your room. It is, though, very tempting to blow that out of the window and sample one of the bars or restaurants around the square.

Beautiful setting.

You feel as if you’re in another world and yet the local bus will take you in only a few minutes to where it’s all ‘happening’ in the resorts of Benalmadena, Fuengirola and a bit further to Marbella and Gibraltar. There are great days out to be had, but you’ll always look forward to coming back to the Pueblo!
