Nice Location
Situated on the Nevada border just minutes from California and just over a half hour drive from Vegas, this locale offers all the dazzle of a casino hotel with a swimming pool and plenty of dining and entertainment venues in easy reach. There's an Original Pancake House and a bountiful buffet on the premises, or if you'd rather skip the casino atmosphere, there's a McDonald's and Starbucks very nearby too. This is the the higher end choice from among the top three casinos of the region (Buffalo Bill's and Whiskey Pete's being the others), and it's been recently remodeled. If you want a peek at Whiskey Pete's, there's a tram you can ride over. For those who love to shop, there's an outlet mall just adjacent as well. Adequate RoomsThese are the nicest rooms among the three regional casinos, but some still felt they were quite basic. Somewhat stylish and usually very clean, it's recommended highly to ask for an upper floor far from the elevators if possible. Lower floors get noisy.Adjacent CasinoCasino lovers will find their spot here with many claiming to walk away with more than they had originally. Bathrooms are kept clean, the parking area is covered and there is ample parking. Some felt it was too smoky, while the smokers enjoyed the haze.
