Hotel Prekas Apartments (Imerovigli, Greece)

Of course it was the views from the hotel that most impressed guests. As with other hotels along this strip the views are across the bay to the caldera beyond, and were described simply as exquisitely beautiful.

Many guests strongly expressed the opinion that the room-rates at Prekas were substantially lower than similar properties along the same strip, all of which had the same view. While they didn't seem to quite know why this was the case, they certainly were not complaining, and felt that they received excellent value for money.

It seemed that a good number of guests actually used their kitchenettes to self-cater, and were happy to find a couple of supermarkets within 10 minutes walking distance to stock up on supplies

While this really came as a surprise to no one, since all realised they were in a hotel perched built into a cliff, some did report that there were stairs here there and everywhere. Those who dislike stairs, or who have serious mobility issues, are unlikely to be comfortable here.

While guests didn't consider it a serious issue, they did say that the décor was just a little past its sell-by date.  There were some indications that rooms were being slowly renovated, but it is unclear when this project will be concluded.

A couple of guests mentioned that the little kitchenettes could do with a few more kitchen implements, so as to allow them to make more complicated meals.
