About Hotel Preggio

Welcome to Preggio! The Agriturismo is part of our farm and overlooks a broad valley dotted with woods, olive orchards, pastures and fields cultivated organically. We are proud to be a “real agriturismo”, where there is an actual, functional farm and where our guests eat what we produce ourselves. We are at 500 metres a.s.l. with long, bright summer days that are never too hot, and where snow never causes problems in winter. Days pass quickly, full of things to do and see. Or even simply relaxing in peace. Here at Preggio, even the night has it’s own charm: the lights of Castel Rigone in the distance, a few scattered cottages with only a courtesy light for travelers and the stars above your head; when staying here in the Agriturismo, you can truly understand why it is called “The Milky Way” (how long has it been since you’ve been able to make it out?). If you’d like, we can even turn off all our lights so you can see it better. No fast paced activities, no “entertainment” (help!!!), just a few people, lots of relaxation, good company and healthy living. If you would really like to flex your muscles a bit you can take advantage of the Pool open only to guests, or take a walk on one of the paths we have cleared up and down the valley. And, if you feel like “taking a drive” you are spoilt for choice as there are many towns that are easy to reach from Preggio, even for an excursion lasting just a few hours. We don’t really like crowded places, and this is why we wanted to limit the number of Rooms and Suites we offer, so each one can be unique, charming and with plenty of privacy. Have a look at the features of our Superior Room or Suite or GrandSuite. For a plateful of spaghetti or a steak in good company, there’s always the small square under the walnut tree!
