Prague Boutique Residence is a centrally located property with modern and sophisticated rooms that offer guests comfortable accommodation in the heart of the city. The rooms are modern, but retain some original features. Each features private bathrooms, flat screen TV and work desk. There is a shared kitchen which all guests can use to rustle up a quick meal. Animal lovers will be happy to know pets are allowed, and techies that there is free Wi-Fi throughout. There are self catering facilities, but breakfast is served daily at a nearby café. For other meals there is a wealth of options in the surrounding streets. Prague Boutique residence is very centrally situated so most of Prague’s attractions are close a hand. The Charles Bridge is 500 yards away, while the dramatic Prague Castle is 2.7 miles to the east.
The residence's prime central location is by far the thing that guests most like about the property. They describe it as very close to the Charles Bridge, and also in the midst of the street life and nightlife that brought many of them to Prague.
Again and again guests bring up the point that the staff were exceptionally welcoming when they arrived, and helpful during the course of their stay, being more than willing to offer advice and assistance when at all possible.
Perhaps guests were not expecting much initially, but all who mentioned the breakfast seemed to have a high opinion of it, and found it far exceeded their expectations. They didn't even mind the two minute walk to get to the café down the road where it was served.
Unfortunately guests seemed to pay for the prime central location by having to endure a bit more street noise that they had hoped for. Many guests mention that both the streets, and the restaurant downstairs seem to generate a lot of noise at night when they are trying to sleep.
Though this wasn't a major issue, several guests did mention that there was no air conditioning, and this was a problem since if they opened the window to let in cooler air they'd get even more noise in off the streets.
The steps are described as very steep, and even as a bit strange. But whatever the perception, the fact is that there were difficult steps and no lift. So people with mobility issues should definitely take this into account.
