The coast of Positano is one of the area's most breathtaking sites, and you'll have an unprecedented view of the water and harbour from most of the property's rooms. The suites are particularly well-suited to seaside views, gazing out at the mountains, residential areas, and outlying islands.

Some of the region's best sites are within driving or train distance, including the famous Path of the Gods along nearby cliffs. There's an excellent network of tourism transportation services in the area, so you'll always be able to reach local excursions.

The building's older nature conflicts poorly with the Wi-Fi network, as the signal tends to weaken as it passes through thick wall materials. The network is stable and swift near the lobby, but becomes slower and less reliable as you ascend.

The pool is far too small for the amount of guests in the hotel, and even for solo swimmers in general. It's intended for relaxed sitting more than vigorous exercise or recreation, so be prepared to do most of your swimming laps at the beach.

To reach the hotel, you'll need to ascend several steep inclines in the surrounding alleys, and may also need to carry your luggage upstairs, depending on your reservation's floor. Be sure to contact the hotel regarding booking on a lower floor if you have mobility issues.
