Hotel Port Isla Inn (Port Isabel, USA)

Staff at the hotel are always jolly and happy to assist guests with whatever they need. They're easy to get a hold of for questions, advice, and requests, and to do what they can so you enjoy your stay. If you don't have an itinerary or aren't sure what to see, ask them.

This is a perfect location for exploring the waters, and Padre Island! There's plenty of boating and Nature watching opportunities, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. It's a nice section of Texas to check out for a vacation.

For budget finances, Port Isla Inn is a decent choice. It's not fancy, but it's spacious, and you get a kitchen along with the decent sleeping space and bathroom. This is also a good place if you need short term accommodations for a job or in between moving.

Rooms don't often appear entirely ready for new check-ins, with garbage, unwashed linens, dirt, dust, and stained fixtures still evident. It may require several requests for housekeeping to freshen things up during your stay, and sometimes the requests just go ignored for the whole duration.

Keep in mind that you need to bring or buy your own dishware and utensils. Th kitchen consists of the appliances and counter space and storage, but doesn't have stuff to go with it.

Beds aren't that soft or comfortable, so it's not always easy to get a good night's sleep. The rest of the room has also seen better days, and could benefit from a makeover and better, brighter décor.
