Many visitors liked the hotel’s location for being a few blocks away from the tourist hotspots in the heart of the city center while being central enough to walk to all the key sights easily. Visitors could walk to the main square within ten minutes and Wawel Hill was across the road. Many reviewers liked the relatively tranquil waterfront location complemented by superb river and city views.

Visitors mostly thought the rooms were clean and comfortable with a fresh feel and contemporary features like modern windows, free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning that performed well in hot weather. Most reviewers felt the rooms represented good comfort and value all round.

Reviewers mostly liked the customer service, describing personnel as friendly, helpful, professional and brimming with local knowledge. As the hotel has about 50 rooms only, many visitors thought the customer service had a personal touch. Staff reportedly spoke good English. Diners generally liked the food and reasonable prices at the hotel restaurants, but other guests said breakfast lacked variety.

Some reviewers thought the rooms, bathrooms and showers were on the small side. Occasionally guests encountered low water pressure in the shower or a thin supply of bathroom toiletries.

The sound of people pacing up and down was occasionally audible in some 5th floor rooms beneath the roof terrace. If you’re a light sleeper you might also prefer a room not facing the road as street noise disturbed some.

The hotel’s lone elevator reportedly sparked human traffic jams in busy periods when visitors were trying to reach the rooftop terrace. A few guests also reported occasional speed and signal frustrations with the free Wi-Fi.
