Menorca Playa Santandria is an adults only hotel located on the West coast of Menorca and has stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel features double, twin and standard rooms with a balcony or terrace. There is also a triple or quadruple room and some rooms boast sea views. Hairdryers are available in rooms and fridges and safes are optional extras. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, plus there is an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, solarium, fitness centre and a massage room. Guests can enjoy the buffet breakfast with a fantastic sea view. A varied à la carte menu is available throughout the day and the rooftop bar offers delicious cockatils. Menorca Playa Santandria is located directly on the beach which affords luxurious vistas. There are shops just 200 metres away and the resort centre of Ciutadella is approximately three kilometres away.
The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and they will do whatever they can to help such as helping you to arrange excursions or recommending restaurants on the island. When a taxi failed to show for some previous guests one member of staff even went as far as giving them a lift himself to ensure that their plans were not ruined.
You will enjoy eating at the restaurant on the beach and you will still able to use the hotel’s Wi-Fi signal when you are on the beach. If you want to eat elsewhere there are also many restaurants close by.
The food offered by the hotel is very good quality and ‘top notch’ whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast buffet is always topped up quickly and there is a lot of choice.
There isn’t a bus stop directly outside the hotel so guests with mobility issues may have problems as there is a hill nearby, but taxis are also available should you need to get around.
Although some guests were impressed with the Wi-Fi and being able to receive a signal on the beach, there are also some who have said that the signal was poor and that they struggled to get a connection.
There is a lack of English television channels in rooms and some rooms may not have a fridge or an iron.
