Hotel Pierre & Vacances Résidence Les Aiglons (Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France)

Many previous guests to the hotel made comment on functional amenity of the apartment for example all basic cooking items were included in the kitchen which made meal preparation and relaxing easy and hassle free.

Some guests thought that the hotel represented good value for money in downtown Chamonix compared to the rooms tariffs of other hotels that were next door or centrally located.  The city centre is an easy 3 minute walk from the hotel.

The apartment hotel is just across the road from one of the main bus stations in Chamonix which provides access to all of its ski areas. Many guests commented that this was the best part of their stay.

Previous guests to the hotel have warned future visitors that this is a self-contained apartment hotel and that the reception staff only work limited hours and are therefore not available to help with any guest requests or provision of additional amenity if required outside of the normal check-in and check-out times.

The configuration of the apartment did not appeal to some previous visitors who thought that a double sofa bed and the twin bunk beds were not at all comfortable. Some guests also questioned whether or not an adult would be comfortable on the top bunk due to its tiny size in the hallway next to the en-suite.

There is no housekeeping at this apartment hotel and many guests expressed their frustration that they were not able to have their rooms cleaned. Some guests were also frustrated at the lack of laundry services available as they could not wash towels or linen during their stay.
