Ph Apartment Suites was found to have a decent location for Amsterdam, within a short walk of the city centre and the Amsterdam Centraal Station, and close to canals, Nemo Science Centre, supermarkets, cafes and public transport.
Guests found the decor and style of the apartments to be lovely, and some came complete with nice harbour views.
Those who were travelling in groups found the larger apartments handy to be able to have all of the team together, instead having to be split across hotel rooms.
During hot weather, guests were disappointed to find that Ph Apartment Suites' apartments did not have air conditioning, and similarly dismayed to discover that the canal-view windows could also not be opened.
The check-in location was found to be different than the apartments' location, with no on-site staff to help with problems, while a few guests were surprised at the large deposits they had to pay and experienced some miscommunication problems.
Some of those who stayed found the kitchens to be only minimally stocked, with not enough on hand to cook a proper meal, while others also found their apartments, and in particular, the bathrooms, small. That being said, some apartments were thought to be roomy, so this appears to depend on what you book.
