The apartments are simply furnished, but have bright and cheerful décor. Each features separate sleeping and lounge/dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, TV with satellite channels, in-room safe (fee) and private balcony, some with great views. During the summer months life at Parque Raquel revolves around its beautiful pool terrace. There are pools for adults and children, and also a solarium with sun loungers. There are no dining options on-site, but those not self catering will find a number of restaurants and cafes in the immediate neighbourhood. Staff can offer recommendations if required. Puerto Rico’s top shopping centre, which also features nightclubs and other entertainment, is 900 yards away. Gran Canaria Airport is 30 miles away by road.
Guests said that Parque Raquel Apartments could possibly be in one of the best locations in the area. A car wasn't necessary with everything from the commercial centre and the beach a stone's throw away. Several regulars to Puerto Rico said that they have now switched their hotel of choice after discovering this prime location.
The pleasant owner was usually on-site and sorted out any issues that guests had efficiently. It seems that there have been big improvements with management in recent months.
