Due to the Park View Guest House being a simple five-minute walk from York city centre, it is in close proximity to many of the popular attractions the area is known for. Places such as the National Railway Museum, York Minster and York Castle Museum are all easily reachable.

Although the bedrooms are on the basic side, most previous guests have been happy with the cleanliness of the rooms in general. In addition, the majority were also happy with the comfort levels of the rooms.

With York being a popular town where parking is a premium, the free parking provided by the Park View Guest House is a big plus point. There is also plenty of space available, meaning you should be able to acquire a spot if required.

While some of the rooms at the Park View Guest House are regarded as being of a good size, the majority are not as fortunate – especially the en-suite space. The lack of space has also led to a lack of furnishings, which spoils the overall ambience of these rooms.

Whilst some visitors were happy with the breakfast at the Park View Guest House, a number of others felt the opposite way. Along with some guests being displeased with how the breakfast was cooked, the lack of options was also unsatisfactory.

A number of minor problems about this guest house have been brought up by past guests, such as a kitchen odour lingering in the hallways, certain appliances being faulty and the Wi-Fi not being overly reliable. These grievances have stopped the guest house from being more reputable than it is at present.
