Park Regency Resort is the perfect base for travelers visiting the slopes of Park City. This hotel is just a four-minute ride in the free shuttle from the many ski lifts of the area and features an indoor pool and hot tub. Guests can stay in either one or two-bedroom condos that feature fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, TVs, DVD players, and air conditioning. Both parking and Wi-Fi access are offered free of charge at this hotel where guests can also make use of barbecues, laundry facilities, fitness equipment, and ski storage. The hotel has no on-site dining facilities, but there are many eateries nearby such as Este Pizza Park City, Good Karma, and El Chubasco, all of which are less than three minutes on foot. Park Regency Resort is a three-minute walk from Kimball Art Center and nine minutes from Holiday Village Shopping Mall. Park City Golf Club is a five-minute drive.
Guests really seemed to have appreciated the free shuttle service. It not only took winter guests to the slopes, but also around the center of Park City. While most of these locations were within walking distance, they still found it handy to have the shuttle available when a bit tired.
Guests mentioned that they really didn’t need a car once they had arrived. They said that they had some great dining choices within easy walking distance, so never felt that they needed to travel far to eat well.
These were clearly guest’s two favorite amenities. They enjoyed being able to take a quick refreshing dip throughout the year at the indoor pool, while winter travelers were especially appreciative of the hot tub, which allowed them to soothe their muscles after a long day on the slopes.
Guests did not think very much of the Wi-Fi system. Going by the reviews, it seems that it often went completely offline, frustrating guests who of course rely on connectivity to run many necessary apps.
A number of guests mentioned that the whole property, rooms and public areas alike, was beginning to show its age. While not said to be too bad yet, guests felt that it could do with a quick refresh, at least, to get things looking new and up to date.
There were quite a number of complaints about noise from adjacent rooms. Guests were especially unhappy that they could hear almost everything going on in the suite directly above them.
