Get out your walking shoes at this resort, one of the biggest guests have seen. Rooms near the beach can be as much as 15 minutes away from the kids pool. A tram can take you where you want to go every 15 minutes, but some guests were unhappy to wait. With transportation used by hotel employees, such as bicycles, service vehicles, and trams, some guests commented that it sometimes felt like a major road on resort grounds.
Some guests felt the pressure to upgrade to room categories or service levels that included extra amenities. Guests with an enhanced Melia Club or Reserve package had access to a personal butler, and exclusive use of spa services and a special swimming pool.
