The beach is just a stone’s throw away so you are there within a minute’s walk. There are also lots of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Just a short bus ride away is the Portaventura theme park which is a fantastic day out for all the family.
Hot buffet food is offered as part of the all-inclusive package. There is lots of choice available and vegetarian options are also given with a really big fresh salad selection. The pool bar serves ice creams and snacks such as hot dogs, pizzas, cakes and also fruits if you are trying to eat healthily.
Staff remember guests who have stayed before which makes them feel really welcome. They are really friendly to children and most have some command of English even if they are not fluent. A previous guest was impressed with the little picnic box they were given when leaving to catch a flight early in the morning.
Most things at the hotel are not aimed at British guests with many feeling that they were looked down on. The entertainment provided is mainly German and Russian as they make up the majority of guests and the food is traditionally Spanish and doesn’t have a lot of international cuisine. Some reviews also reported that Russian guests were very noisy and security had to be called to deal with their drunken behaviour.
Previous guests have found that the hotel wasn’t kept very clean and the windows were quite grubby. The pool area is unclean and not maintained from day to day.
There is lots of noise from other guests and reports that deliveries are made and bottles collected in the early hours which was far too noisy and very inconsiderate.
