The Hotel Palacio de Los Navas is housed in a tastefully restored 16th century mansion. While having thoroughly modern facilities, the original features still shine through, adding to the sense of history one feels in Granada. Despite being fairly small, the hotel aims to offer comprehensive services. The reception is open 24 hours, Wi-Fi is available throughout, and there are delightful places to retreat from the midday heat - with a cool drink in hand. The Hotel Palacio de Los Navas is centrally located, and is the ideal base when visiting the incredible Alhambra, the Cathedral and the Royal Chancellery.

While the location is fantastic for nightlife and sightseeing, there is clearly a price to pay. The most mentioned downside is that street noise can be a major issue. The rooms do not seem to be well sound proofed, and at weekends the bars are jumping until four AM. For guests who are sleeping (rather than in the bar) this can obviously be a problem.
There are not many complaints about the breakfast itself, but the room it is served in is described as much too small (and a bit dingy) for the number of guests.
