Classy and comfortable hotel.

The rooms are well appointed and clean, charmingly decorated and equipped with comfortable furnishings. The hotel itself is also spacious and air conditioned for comfort.

A varied breakfast is served daily with a choice of fresh pastries and cakes, cereals, fresh fruit, cold and hot dishes including eggs and bacon.

The reception staff in particular are courteous, friendly and attentive. You can expect to be greeted by name during your stay, and provided with tourist information and on request, personal staff recommendations for places to visit.

Location is far from the city centre.

Some guests felt that the hotel was too far a distance from the city centre to be able to walk, and that it is also a complicated walk making it easy to get lost. A bus service is available to the city centre, although some guests, again, found it to be a long journey, and the times are also limited. To enjoy Verona’s nightlife, you may need to use a taxi service back to the hotel.

Noisy and uncomfortable.

Despite being located in a residential area, some guests felt that there was not sufficient sound insulation. The sound of traffic was loud at times, and also the noise of neighbouring guests could be heard quite loudly. Some guests also complained of sleeping uncomfortably due to the hardness of the mattresses.

The air conditioning has been known to break down from time to time, which may cause discomfort during the warmer months. The Wi-Fi is also unreliable, being either slow or difficult to connect to.
