The staff are warm, welcoming and ready to chat. Very personable and helpful with whatever your needs may be, the friendly personalities on this team add great value to an otherwise very basic accommodation.

The beds are cozy, amenities are average, and the refrigerators and microwaves are handy for leftovers. Ask about extras like heart-shaped Jacuzzis and the holographic fireplace for special occasions.

This locale is set back a bit from the main downtown area, so you'll rest easy here. The town trolley stops in front of the property, so you can hop on and ride through the city and back quite easily. If you're in town during warmer months, there's a lovely outdoor pool. Ask about their discount entertainment tickets.

Don't be shocked if the Wi-Fi isn't great. You can probably check email and Facebook pretty easily, but for watching movies and such, it'll take a while.

Some rooms' paint is chipping, wallpaper is peeling, light covers are full of bugs, walls have holes and electrical outlet covers aren't secure.

You may not get breakfast even if advertised -  it's only offered seasonally. Ask at time of booking if you'd prefer a daily continental on-site. Some rooms don't have dead bolts; only doorknob locks. Bring your hair dryer - they aren't provided. You'll also likely only have a shower - no bath - unless you specifically request a Jacuzzi tub, as some of the regular bath tubs don't work. Batteries may be missing in smoke detectors, and some rooms don't have posted emergency or rate information like most hotels/motels.
