Olivia Plaza’s location was thought to be fantastic; it looks out over the bustling Plaza Catalunya square, which is a great public transport hub, and also has hop-on, hop-off buses. Guests found Las Ramblas just around the corner, and the Barcelona old city, shopping, museums and modernist architecture were all within an easy walk.
Guests considered the hotel to have great interior design in rooms and in the comfortable, relaxed lobby, while the beds were thought to be comfortable, the air conditioning efficient, the rooms spacious and the views from higher floors amazing.
The staff members here were found to be excellent across the board; were friendly, were fluent in English and of great help in organising bookings and helping with tourist information.
Those who stayed at Olivia Plaza only occasionally had issues, but the most common was the Wi-Fi signal, which some guests found to not be particularly fast or strong in some rooms, as well as the lack of tea and coffee facilities, and a few guests also mentioned that the toilet layout was awkward.
