Hotel Olivi Spa & Natural Wellness (Sirmione, Italy)

The hotel is located in the quiet part of town, a five-minute walk from the centre. Guests love the peaceful atmosphere at the boutique hotel while still being close to restaurants and all there is to do in Sirmione.

Guests say the staff here are professional and friendly and provide exceptional service. In fact, many people here are repeat guests from various parts of the world who rave about the service. Everyone from the owners to the maintenance workers reportedly go out of their way to be helpful with many recognizing guests by name.

Every afternoon, tea and pastries are served by the pool and guests look forward to the 5pm bell that announces their arrival! The pool isn’t large but guests say it’s a nice spot with a small garden and comfortable loungers and it’s a nice place to get some peace and quiet.

Some of the rooms here can be small and may not have a view of the lake, but guests say they are immaculate and very well-kept. Many recommend upgrading to a larger room with a balcony if possible to fully enjoy the property’s location overlooking the lake.

Don’t depend on your GPS to find this remote location. The hotel is at the end of the village in the old walled town. To get there you need to drive through some small paths which may be hard to negotiate in a large car. You’ll also need to be cleared at the police kiosk at the entrance (they have a list of hotel guests) in order to enter with a car. Once at the hotel many guests say getting there was part of the experience and well worth it.

Guests who need to stay connected can be frustrated by the Wi-Fi at the hotel. Some say the signal is weak and others say service can be unreliable and is sometimes unavailable.
