Make sure to enjoy the excellent complimentary breakfast. Served buffet-style, the layout boasts a large variety of fresh and tasty items. In addition, guests also highly recommend the onsite restaurants for their menu.

This hotel boasts magnificent views from most rooms. You can choose to look out over the pool or the city, but rest assured, both are worth it. On Friday and Saturday nights, there are often guest events held poolside, and if your room faces it, it's an excellent opportunity to people-watch.

Though situated in the downtown area of Cancun, the location of the hotel is often seen as less than ideal. It is a bit far from the beaches and the main dining scene. Guests say you should be prepared to use public transportation every day to get around or visit the main touristic parts. Fortunately, the hotel is convenient to a bus stop.

Renovations and updates are definitely needed throughout the hotel. Some parts of the rooms, and the bathrooms especially, need minor repairs. Guests often report having maintenance issues during their stay.

The air conditioners could also use an update. They are clearly an older, outdated model, and are very noisy. In addition to being a minor annoyance, guests also said they didn't cool the room well enough on hot days.
