Hotel Océania Saint Malo (Saint-Malo, France)

Rooms are modern and well-equipped with plenty of extras; rainfall showers with large Italian-style shower cabins or generously-proportioned bathtubs, complimentary bottled water and coffee machine with plenty of supplies.

With its location just outside the historic walls of Saint-Malo, most guests find the hotel's situation ideal for exploring the local area. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity and, of course, the beach is right on the doorstep.

Previous guests highly recommend opting for a sea view room, with balcony overlooking the bay. If you'd prefer to stick with a standard room, the panorama can still be enjoyed from the bar and lounge with stunning terrace.

Some guests feel that several essentials are missing at Océania Saint Malo; there is no restaurant for evening meals (bar a room service option), only coffee-drinkers are catered for in the in-room supplies, and guest rooms do not have minibars. Despite this, the vast majority of guests rate their stay highly.

The hotel does have a secure underground car park, however, it is fairly compact. Guests with larger cars will not be able to access it at all and, for everyone else, finding a space will be luck of the draw. There is a public car park available nearby, though, and some guests find the parking works out less costly overall (although not as secure).

Internet access at the hotel can be patchy; with some guests having to stand in corridors or hang out windows to achieve a usable signal. There is also a work area in the common area, however, if you need a good connection.
