Nuuk Cheil Cottages is a family oriented business run by Maya Healer Mrs. Aurora Saqui and her husband Maya Leader & Shaman Mr. Ernesto Saqui. Together they have a thriving business that provides their guest with genuine Maya Hospitality. Nuuk Cheil Cottages is also located about 10 km from the Jaguar Reserve (Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary), and about a 5-minute walk from the Village Bus Stop for backpackers. We have both private, shared rooms, and camping available and an onsite restaurant and gift shop. Our restaurant is open daily. We serve local Belizean and Maya traditional foods. Vegetarians and vegans can also be accommodated. We have activities available such as Maya cooking, Medicine Making with Maya Healer Aurora Saqui, Maya Ceremonies, day and night tours to the Jaguar Reserve, etc. We are featured in the "Lonely Planet".
