The Novotel Saint Denis opened in 2015, and guests find the rooms still have the "brand new" feeling. They are widely described as clean, comfortable, and spacious. The nicely equipped fitness centre on the fifth floor opens onto a wide terrace with a view all the way to the Eiffel Tower.
Many guests award the front desk staff and maitre d' high praise for their friendly, helpful, and professional customer service, noting they are pleased to answer questions and generally make guests feel welcome.
Though the hotel targets corporate travellers and those attending events at the nearby Stade de France, guests who don't mind a commute find it's possible to do a little sightseeing from the location. There's a stop for Metro line 13 just outside the front door, and it's about 10 stops to the city centre.
Guests generally note that Saint Denis has little to recommend it beyond the stadium and basilica, and is not an inviting place to explore on foot.
Though there is indoor parking available nearby, the signage is reportedly unclear and there are few spaces available to park temporarily while getting directions from the front desk. Some drivers also note that the garage is not built to accommodate larger vehicles very well.
A few guests have reported disappointing customer service at the front desk or in the restaurant, though charitable travellers acknowledge that a "learning" period is normal for a newly opened hotel.
